GROUPY!!!!! AWESOME!!!! (:

NDP 2010 ended with a blast... We took tons of pics, share laughters and experience but most of all, we share a common bond that separates us from others. (:

Ok, now let me tell you the havoc but awesome times we had.. (:

This is our AWESOME group up on the stage that we danced on... It was a great experience..

OK enough of pics... The goofy costume im wearing is the costume that all the motivators have to wear on that we... We sengkangers wore that for 6 HOT hours... WARM TTM.... hahak but no complaints cuz we have loads of fun...

*Fast forward....*

I was partnered with AWESOME FION and we stand together at a platform infront of the stage.

Then we went up on stage to demonstrate the NORTH-EAST CHEER!!! (:

hahak, Fion on and i was like OMG, we going up on stage???!!!!!

The motivators all gather and we danced to HOLIDAY to hype up the crowd.

AWESOME...

After the dance we went to our respective platforms to get ready for the North east Cheer and POP!!

Yes, POP!!!

We broke the record for the largest amount of confetti poppers popped at one time!!! AWESOME!!!!

Then Dione, an AWESOME groupy, loooked at me and gave me the panic face...

She needs help with ballooning....

hahak!!!

Fion and I came to the rescue...

Dione and i went ahead to do ballooning at another place...

we did SPEED BALLOONING!!! haha..

Dione: What do you want boy? a sword? Ash, that boy wants a sword....

Me: Ok..

Me: Ok....

Then i look at her and she just gave me a wide smile...

So basically, I WAS THE ONE WHO DID MOST OF THE BALLOONING!!! -.-

Lol... Dione was there to help pump the balloons and helped to do some balloons herself...

Nonetheless, shes a great friend to have to make you smile (:

To help ease the pressure, I sang to the national day songs!!! But apparently, Dione was like "ASH!!! STOP SINGING!!!"

She was "dying" from ballooning...

Jodie then came to help but then, POOF!!! Dione was gone... HAIYO!!! hahak (:

After the whole event, we all went back to the sports hall to TAKE TONS OF PICS!!!!

As time passes, i became the photographer for them!!

hahak!! WE ARE AWESOME!!! Gonna miss them loads and hopefully, we will be part of NDP 2011!!!

This group of people changed my life into a more vibrant and colourful one. They are a joy to be with and we cherish the bond we share as a group. Love them sooo much and hope even after NDP we will still be in touch. So yeah, thats it.

How Wonderful Love is....

My friends said your looks are average... To me, you shine out from the millions and billions of other girls as you shine from your heart, not from looks. I'd rather choose a normal box with beautiful things inside than a well decorated box with nothing inside... Deep inside is what matters most for me. There is no need to put on make up and there is certainly no need to show that you are beautiful because you already are. Its no use getting better at something once you are already very good at it.

But......

It is quite Impossible that you and I can be together. I really care for you and I want what's best for you. But we are worlds apart and nothing can change that. You are extraordinary while im nothing compared to any other guys. You deserve better. I hope you will find the right Man to guide you and be a part of your life.

Just smile, even in the harshest of problems and adversaries that life has to offer, you can and will be happy. Move on with a smile on your face... It is just another lesson to be learned from to teach and guide you to prepare for the ever changing world in the years to come.

How Wonderful it is to be here... (:

A councellor? haha... someone told me i can be a councellor... Well, to be honest, i am just willing to make my friends smile. I do not like to see them feeling soo blue... Of all the lessons VGC has taught me, one of them is to make the lives of others as bright as can be.. I've Never regretted joining VGC... The gift of sharing Music is what i love to do. Hope i can do it right (:

Hey guys, its been a while since ive last posted something... ive been wondering around in search of peace and tranquility. Not literally but just finding peace. Music is the key to my peace... Whenever im down, angry, happy or sad, Music gives me a sense of freedom.

I can cry listening to Music alone. Letting out my deepest feelings.

I want you guys whenever you feel troubled, listen to the song ive posted here in my blog.

My life's questions...

All these while, ive been wondering what do i want to be when i grow up. What am i supposed to do in my life? What is it that I am supposed to accomplish in life? I found the answers to some of them. One thing i want to do in the future is to Help the needy. I want to make a change in peoples lives, to turn it better and livelier. To help them realise that there is much more in life that you can ever imagine. God opened up my eyes to new opportunities like VGC (Volunteer Guitar Connection) and MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore). Ever since I joined VGC, my heart opened up and i know that my interest is to help people. Before i joined this beneficiary, i had difficulties, always thinking i am a burden to someone. Sometimes i feel so useless, not knowing how to repay great kindness. I feel so utterly useless. Now at least i am able to express myself through music and passion to help these people realise that they are not alone and we are there to help them. I realise, that through making those kids and people smile is enough to make me smile too. Their smile is the remedy to the loneliness in my heart, that always feel that something is missing. I feel fortunate, because through helping in this beneficiaries, they are able to help me realise what am i supposed to do in my life. Their smile and laughter is the best thing i can ever get from them in return. Of course it is hard work, but hey (: i am happy.

I was sick today actually, but i still went down with my group to do our CIP with the MINDS volunteers. We went down to Queenstown Sports Complex to join them in their swimming therapy.

The 5 of us are able to feel their suffering. All those anger and fear can be felt when you hold them. But for some reason, they are happy. Smiles and laughters spread throughout the swimming pool.

They love the company and are able to cope with life even though they are disabled. Some of them are even working. To think that people of their intellectual disability is able to cope with life's harsh demands makes me motivated to help them even more. I Love to see them smile and have fun with all of us. We were treated well and they were so friendly. I guess, this is an opportunity that i wont forget even though my health deteriorated further. haha. :)

Their will to live on and achieve something in life gives me Strength.

O.P.T.I.M.I.S.M

All of us have questions about who are we, what are we gonna be in the future.

So many question that life has to offer but there is no answer.

Have you ever felt so miserable and always regretted what you have chosen and always blame the ones that causes you to choose that CHOICE?

The word says it all, CHOICE...

All of us have choices, difficult or easy ones.

It is just a matter of choosing and to never look back.

No matter how hard it may be, no matter how much burden it causes, you can NEVER turn back time.

Life is a challenge I must say, but it's a lesson that builds up the person you are meant to be.

It doesnt matter what will happen, its the path you choose that assures how good or bad you will be.

No one will know whether it is the right choice or not.

But the Moral of the story is, Optimism.

Optimism is the key towards a great life ahead, no matter how tough it will be at the start.

Being positive is whats worth than demoralizing yourself further in your deep anger and concience.

On one fine morning, I decided to investigate...

Sneakily, i went to their hideout, wanting to know more about their culture...

I went to explore...

To find something unusual about their nature...

What I noticed, they have a waterfall in their hideout...

I sat there watching one of them as he danced in the waterfall...

Swiftfully, graciously he danced...

and when he finished, he wore this weird fur as he walked out of the room standing tall...

I followed him from behind, wanting to know what will he do next...

He suddenly dissappeared...

Frantically I searchd for him, desperate to fuel my curiosity...

when i turned around there he was, with an angry look...

There was something in his hands...

I fought back, feeling threatened by the pointy object...

I ran as fast as i could to the nearest window and jumped...

I fell down from their hideout high up in the sky, face flat...

And that is the life where curiosity kills the Cat

Band Camp 2010

I have two things to post for Band Camp...

First

A band needs supportive teachers who understands the needs, the wants and the best for the band...

Not to think about other CCAs but only for band...

Our instruments are OUR instruments...

Our funds are OUR funds...

What you promise to us have to be fulfilled because what we promise to you had been done...

Dnt blame us (students) if the band die in the process...

Its because of the lack of support from the school, evidently the teachers themselves...

NEVER pamper any one of us...

The more you pamper, the more WEAK and LOUSY we get...

We will be the laughing stock of the school, including you...

Punishments will always be punishments...

What Jurong Band is 10 years ago will and must be what

Jurong Band is now...

If you want the band to be strong, then dnt make weak people become more weak...

( No offense, its just that your logic seems to be illogical )

Second

To the instructors,

A round of applause from us seniors...

You guys did well...

I am proud of you guys. You guys did your best.

You guys knocked alot of sense into them...

We seniors know you want the best for our band...

Dnt worry guys, for we will always support you...

One thing is, you guys have to improve on is communication...

Accept your roles given by the majors...

From all of my experiences in band, one tip i got to offer,

NEVER bring personal matters in band... THINK ONLY for the band, NOT for yourself...

To my beloved section, it's an honour to be your Section Leader from 2008-2009...

I will always remember the blood, sweat and tears we shed as a section before the SYF...

I am a humble person, but i got to say our section IS and WILL be the best section in JSB...

Hey, even the closest brothers and sisters do have misunderstandings....

The best thing is, we pulled through as a Batch, upholding the band under our care in 2008...

One year of stress for us before SYF's... Our desire to improve, not to lay back in BRONZE, to achieve better for SYF 2009 spured our passion and initiative towards the band and also towards ourselves...

The moment of truth came in April 2009...

"Jurong Secondary School... SILVER"

The few of us, who stayed at the conference hall were stunned at first...

Then, "WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It was the happiest moment of our life in JSB... (:

The rest of us who were back in school, while doing our common tests, got smses saying we got SILVER!!!

I myself put down my pen, submitted my not-even-halfway-done paper and went out of the room shouting frantically; "WE GOT A SILVER PEOPLE!!! SILVER!!!"

Thinking back at the achievements my batch and i achieved as a batch as well as individual, we feel that every one of us had done our part...

Some thought that the band will cease to exist,

I was lost with no directions...

When the ring was cut, a voice was heard...

"Hello" i said, waiting anxiously for her reply...

"Hello" someone replied, in a low stentorian voice...

"HELP ME!!!" A scream??? It was more of a Cry...

I hanged up the phone and rushed to her house...

There I stood at the corridor..

What Am i to do??

Empty handed, i bust through her door...

It was everywhere...

There she was, motionless. Lifeless as can be...

Poor little thing...

I picked up the dead rat and threw it away...

"Sally???" i called out her name...

No replies...

I went to the master bedroom, and was shocked to see,

That she was as safe as she'll ever be...

She was just watching a Horror movie...

The stentorian voice was her Dad...

I was wrong... Thought that she had a scandal on me...

The price i have to pay??

The door i busted through, Accidentally...

A myriad of feelings engulfs my soul tonight...

Hey peeps (: I had a bad start to start off my morning today... -.- My body was heavy, my muscles are aching and my head felt as if someone was playing the drums on my head....

It was so unbearable that I didnt turn up for work today...

sorry Andi Z and Syaz...

At noon, i started to feel much much better, hoping that i could still meeet my friends to jam a song or two later....

Went to the mosque for Friday Prayers with Yat and then we practiced at home before meeting PJ at Tj CC...

The sound of my guitar ringing under my fingers made my entire day... It was so soothing, touching, beautiful and melodic...

I finally knew the reson why i loved music.. (:

Hayat, PJ and I jammed the song Two is Better Than One by Boys Like Girls and again i was awed at PJ's great and beautiful vocals...

Felt that i destroyed the song by singing the back ups ( due to my exhausted body, my voice was diff too.. )

Haha O well (:

The best thing abt todays session was that we had our first Live audience!!! And they became our good friends too (:

2 of them were from JJC while one of them graduated from PJC...

They saw us jamming and wanted to join in the fun (:

They were great musicians too... the girls sang it beautifully while the guy played the guitar marvellously...

Then we had a small exchange, of course we were a little shaky but we pulled through.. (:

Then the girls left, leaving me, hayat and Darren behind...

Darren is a nice guy who loved music as much as us... he is a great guitarist and drummer too (:

Today maybe the first time that Tribal, Fina and Yamaha sang together (;

haha, it was because of Darren that Hayat and I reminisce our childhood once again.. We played songs from his "music book" which is soo cool!!! We played alot of classics that were composed very long ago, during the time of our Childhood or even earlier!!!

It was the first time hayat ever sang a whole song, Better by Robin Williams (:

We had tons of fun today making it one of my memorable days this year...

Making 3 new friends today turned me into an exultant person today (:

After which Natasha left and the rest of us played heart attack..

Moving on... We played Truth or Dare (with Andi's iphone)

A lot of fun questions... the only Darer that completed his dare was Yat.
he suay suay kena easy ones. Ours was like cannot be done those kind.

There were tough questions for each and every one of us had to ans...

The great thing about this game is that we get to know more about one another, we get to know more about what one of us feels about the others....

I was shocked by Saniyah's description of me... haha, but its ok.. (: we learned that each and every one of us has their own strengths and weaknesses... Then through that game we gave one another nicknames...

After that game, we played volleyball... hahak, AndiZ was the autistic guy who has a big butt (pantat jack)...

hahak... We planned on playing Volleyball with the Bs that were playing behind us but the shrugged us out... -.-

Nevertheless, we had fun amongst ourselves... (:

Of course, there is always a limit to our fun, so we ate mee goreng that were deliciously/hot cooked by Tiqah's mum.. hahak.. We also had SUSHI from Saniyah !! (:

Today's Colour is Green...

Hey rock mates... Today (yesterday) was our ( me, andi and syaz ) first day at work with one another...

To start off the day, we were late... YES, we were late on our first day of work..

WHAT AN IMPRESSION!!!

Haha, its not our fault for missing the bus stop and end up some where weird... -.-

Still we arrived an hour late and swee swee our boss came out from nowhere and saw us strolling in...

Alex (boss): Guys, what time already???

I was like WTH???? We were late and you still belanja us eat??? COOL or WHAT???

But the most weird thing is, is it still breakfast at 11.00 am??

Anyway, our job is to pack up some stuff from palattes... WATSON'S stuff to be exact... So we handled things like shampoo, soap, deodorants etc...

It was kinda boring at first BUT we made it fun.... hehehee....

We did funny stuff like having a race between palatte jack and the NTUC trolley -.- ...

It was all Andi's idea... haha

Then... we kaysiao abit.. we ------------------ haha...

At 3.20 pm we had our rokok break... not that we rokok or what, it's just that in warehouse terms for tea break, it is called ROKOK break (:

hahak... we slacked one corner, sit down and talk...

Syazz: Eh Andi, kau nak makcik bonc???

Andi: tu untuk Dann jer lah!!! hahak

Me: Eh Syazz, kau nak pompuan cam mana?

Syazz: Entah, i just go with the flow.. To me kalau dah suka tu suka ah.. Apa nak criteria criteria lagi?

Andi: Kalau aku, aku mesti kena meet criteria...

Then after work I went back to meet AFD to go for a short run at the canal... (:

Felt sorry for her cuz she hurt her leg during training before our run and sadly she could not pace as well... I ran for 2 rounds while she ran for 1...

AFD: I can still run seh... I'm not tired!!! (:

But sadly, she cannot do any physical training too much because of her injury..

WARNING: WHENEVER YOU HAVE AN INJURY, NEVER PUSH YOURSELF TO DO TRAINING/SPORTS... ONCE YOU INJURE AT THE SAME AREA THE SECOND TIME, PREPARE FOR A LONG LONG LONG RECOVERY OR WORST STILL, NEVER RECOVER AT ALL...

anyway, i enjoyed our little catch up session with her.. Kau dah sapau ah Afidah... hahak (:

I went to do some research on the distance of the canal.. 1 round is about 1.3 km (which i think is soo fake)

If it is 1.3 km per round and I ran like 4 rounds around the canal, does it mean i ran like 5.2 km??? its like soo fake lah...

By the looks of it, im really dissappointed in myself... ): i am soo unfit ):

nvm, this means i have to train more... 5-7kg is not enough.. must lose 10 more... (:

RUGBY....

Rugby training today was gerek (fun).... made new rugger buds, trained hard and mostly enjoy the whole training...

I was quite satisfied with myself as I have improved my stamina... Was not really tired throughout the drills

but still tiring... haha, me and Andi are the ~~NEWBIES~~ so we are still learning some skills like tackling, support, drive and stuff..

so yeah... training at SP was quite fun... but gonna try hockey and hope i stay in it... (:

Hey rockers.. I've not much to say beccause i am quite tired now..

Anyway, today i had an outing with "~~supposedly~~" Hmt students.

But sadly, only like 6 people out of like 20 students came..

The funny thing is, all of us are from Jurong Sec; Me, Andi, Hayat, Saniyah, Natasha and Atiqah... -.-

But still, we crapped/joked/tease/enjoyed ourselves today...

Eg; I made Saniyah cried (not on purpose)

Played heart-attack

Flew a KITE

Played TRUTH or DARE (i phone style)

Soccer (with volleyball)

Volleyball (with the same volleyball we kicked)

but mostly, we enjoyed each others companionship (:

sorry for the emo posts... was just "penning" down my emotions hahak...

Hey peeps... Today was quite a long/stupid/funny day... (:
I spent the whole of my morning at Jurong Medical Centre to undergo my medical check up with Dan and Syazz... Waited for like half an hour... We planned to meet at 8.30 so we can reach at 9 because somepeople needs "extra" time to get there... haha. So, Syaz, Dan and I already met at 9.30 at JMC...
i texted Andi; "Mana kau? (Where are you?)" at 9.17 am.
He relied a few minutes later saying that he just woke up... -.- dishk...
Then the 3 of us just went ahead with our check up...
All was well except for my stomach pains which i had since like 3 years ago?

Today is Friday.. I'm still not asleep yet due to some circumstances. Actually i am just thinking.

Past, Present, Future.

It feels as if it was just days ago that i was still playing in Lakeside Primary with my great freinds Matin, Iswardi and Khairul.. We used to play paper aeroplanes together during recess and after school. Even though only Iswardi was in the same school as me in secondary school, i still kept in touch with the rest...

Then secondary school came. Me, Andi, Iswardi and Shanmugam were the brothers of Doom in class 1/4 and 2/4. Whenever the four us were together, "chaos" would bound to happen.. Then during sec 2, we created a new trend amongst ourselves; HARDCORE CHAPTEH!!! hahak, those were great times.. Not long after we created the game, we made new friends like Danial, Aziz, Arvin, Hayat, Faiz etc..

Before we knew it, we were in sec 3. Still at our cheerful and playful stage, we kept playing and playing throughout the year... of course we still studied for exams.. Then came sec4 where all of us started MUGGING!!!

Books Books and more Books....

I regretted my life in sec4 because i played too much and studied too little... I started studying only in June... That is a Month before prelim 1... and yeah, i did miserably bad for the 1st prelim with a L1R5 of 38 :( ...

slowly i began to catch up... especially for sciences... but still at the end of prelim 2, my L1R5 was still the same...

Still, i did not gave up and push myself further.... and it turn out to be fruitful when i got my O level results on 13 Jan.

was truly shocked!!!

haha, didnt expect to do that well... but Alhamdulillah... :)

anyways , MMUFC were still playful as usual and our friendship remained strong.. haha, miss them soo much.

well, yeah... :) that was my life soo far... ( minus parts which is too long to type for now :p )

My heart is still hurt from the previous experience. It left a deep scar as a reminder to.....

Moving On

It is tough for me to do so but there is someone whom has a radiant smile that never fails to mesmerise me...

I dnt want to get my hopes up but i just want you to know that your smile is one of the inspiration i need to keep me going whenever i'm down..

im sorry that my heart chose you... but i cant deny the fact that i miss you, dearly...

Just a smile is enough to make my day, just one smile..

I'm now stuck in a problem where usually only adults will face..

I feel at a lost even though i am not losing anything. No matter what, I'm willing to sacrifice everything for my beloved family.

No one, not a single person can replace my family. they are whom i adore, love, care, basically every positive thing i feel for them. But why are there so much mishaps? The burden i have to take is too much.

All i can do now is pray to the almighty. Only He can ease the pain. Only He knows how much pain my heart is enduring all these while. Bad and Vivid memories of the past is nothing compared to this.

All i want is peace and serenity for my family.

Please, I beg you, please change for the better. NOT FOR THE WORST...

i do not know what to say. WHY!!! What has he ever done to deserve such a cruel punishment from you? Are you going to wait until he leaves us all for good? I kept all my anger... There was some moments that I almost blew it. lucky you i kept my mouth shut.

Everything you push to Mum. WHY??? Its ok. I can help her.. Mama, please bear the burden for a few more years ok. I'll study hard for you. I'll save you from all the troubles in the future. Insyaallah..

I love you mama.. It was thanks to you that the whole family is still intact..

I'm tearing up, Because its just so much pain to see beloved ones in such pain...

Granddad, get well soon. Grandma still needs you.. hang on, insyaallah you'll come back to us..
